Armani
Giuseppe Armani was born in Calci, a quaint little town, not far from Pisa. Young Giuseppe, ("Pepe" to his many friends) would sit for hours and hours and hours on end, happily and faithfully replicating all the objects he saw around him. Because Calci was lacking in inspirational material suitable for a young and avid artist, Pepe felt impelled, while just an adolescent, or seek his future elsewhere. He set out to mine the artistic treasures of that great triumvirate of quintessential renaissance cities: Pisa, Siena, and Florence.

Giuseppe Armani Struck Gold! The genius and the glory of the renaissance were then and there, emblazoned on brain and in his soul forever. Even today, Giuseppe frequently visits the city of Florence to continue his explorations of renaissance themes in both sculpture and painting. In 1975, Florence Sculpture d'Arte and Giuseppe Armani began an inspired, exclusive and extraordinarily successful relationship, Armani and Florence are currently forming a work-shop, in the tradition of the renowned renaissance work-shops, to enable the world's most talented sculptors to work with and learn from the master-sculptor, himself, Giuseppe Armani. This remarkable success and the world-wide recognition he achieved have affected Armani's modest lifestyle Not-At-All. Pepe still longs for artistic adventures, he still strives for professional development and is always open and alert to new ideas and techniques. His clear perception the basic aspects of nature and his remarkable insights into the human psyche has remained constant.

Armani works every day in the studio that is attached to his house. He sculpts to the same ancient rhythms as did Michelangelo and da Vinci. These geniuses of the renaissance continually inspire him to sculpt modern masterpieces.
